For sale is an 15-year-old fitness company with locations across the United States. There are individual locations still maintained by the owners, a supplement program and a franchise program.
Their revenue is almost 100% recurring (coming from monthly memberships and personal training), and members are locked into one-year-minimum contracts. Typically, revenue is 70% membership fees and 30% personal training and retail sales. 2020 revenue dropped due to the pandemic (as the gyms were closed for several months) but has rebounded and is expected be stronger than ever with the new franchisees.
