The device has proven to be an excellent investigative tool for criminal and background investigations at over 3,000 US law enforcement agencies (and has also been instrumental in helping to solve hundreds of cold cases).
The business is easily relocatable and has multiple revenue channels, including selling the product, training, and recertification training. 40% of revenue comes from training, and 60% comes from product sales. Every certified examiner must take the recertification class every two calendar years (which provides recurring training revenue).
The owners would like to retire but have four staff, including sales and marketing personnel and four 1099 subcontracts (all of whom would be willing to stay on).
