For sale is a Canadian company offering high-quality comprehensive, and unbiased medical evaluations for independent medical assessment companies with over 200 customers, primarily insurers, employers, and lawyers. The company assesses 150 to 200 cases monthly, with base assessment fees ranging from $1,500 to $4,500. Half of the assessments are virtual, and the other half are in-person. Additional fees are charged for travel, office space rent, file sizes over 500 to 1,000 pages (billed per page), and multiple benefit questions.
The employees experience a 100% remote work environment, while the Psychiatrists travel to clinics if in-person assessments are needed. Also providing support for the Psychiatrists are 50+ support staff contractors who are trained in-house. Most of the contractors are local to Canada, but some are off-shore. They work various hours and fill the roles of Medical Scribe, File Summarizer, and Proofreader.
